(1) Training:
(1-a) Village based basic training (VDP men and women): Through this training the members of the village defense team get an idea about the VDP organization and are able to serve as members of the VDP platoon. (1-b) Rules:
Two platoons comprising 32 men and 32 women from the respective villages were given free training.
This training is conducted for 10 (ten) days in a convenient place in the village.
This training is given once in a village.
The trainee has to pass at least eighth class.
The minimum age of the trainee is 18 and the maximum is 30 years.
Training allowance is paid at the rate fixed daily as training allowance.
One share of Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank worth Rs. 100 has to be purchased from the training allowance received at the end of the training.
The trainee is given a certificate at the end of the training.
Members of one village are not trained in another village.
The district commandant selects the village as per the recommendation of the concerned Upazila Ansar and VDP officer before the start of the financial year.
Through this training the VDP male and female platoon of the village is reorganized.
Trainee members get the opportunity to apply for the 3rd and 4th class government jobs at the prescribed 10% quota (but only for 21 days of training).
(2) Basic training of General Ansar (Male and Female): Upon receiving this training, the members are able to perform their duties as General Ansar and qualify to be incorporated as General Ansar. (2-a) General Ansar training rules are as follows:
The training was conducted in the initial phase at the district headquarters and in the final phase at the Safipur Ansar-VDP Academy in Gazipur.
According to the quota of Upazila Ansar and VDP workers, the members also select the members and send the list to the office of the District Commandant.
To the person concerned in the light of Ansar Bahini Act 1995 and Ansar Bahini Regulations Mala 1996
The following qualifications have to be completed:
Age 18 to 30 years.
Educational Qualification Minimum eighth grade pass. However, SSC or above degree holders are preferred for training.
Minimum 160 cm i.e. 5'-4 "(in case of males)
Minimum 150 cm i.e. 5'-0 "(in case of women)
Chest size from 75 cm to 60 cm i.e. 30 ”- 32” (in case of men).
Sight: 6/7
General Ansar Basic Training requires submission of Certificate of Educational Qualification and Certificate of Character and Citizenship.
During the training, the trainees are provided free accommodation, food and clothing.
No money is taken from any member to take part in this training.
After the successful completion of this training, he joined various government and non-government KPI / important organizations in the country and took charge of security.
The trainee members are involved for a short period of time in performing Durga Puja, national and local government elections or any other discipline as directed by the government.
(3) Vocational Training: In addition to basic training, an Ansar VDP member gets the opportunity to become self-reliant through vocational training. The Ansar-VDP organization conducts various types of vocational training every year. E.g.
Computer Basic Course (Battalion Ansar, General Ansar and VDP Member).
Electrician Course (VDP Member / Battalion Ansar / General Ansar).
Driving training (VDP male and female).
Member of Auto Mechanics Training-VDP.
Refrigerator & Air Conditioning (With Postal Servicing) Training - VDP Member.
Electrical House Wiring Training - VDP Member.
Mobile Phone Servicing Training - VDP Member.
Plumbing and Pipe Fitting Training - VDP Member.
Worldly 4G Training - VDP Member.
Machinery and Rod Binding Training - VDP Member.
Construction Painting Training - VDP Member.
Tiles Setting Training- VDP Member.
Sewing Fashion Design Training (Ansar Member / VDP Member).
Garment Training (VDP Men & Women)
In addition, various vocational trainings are also provided which are added / subtracted every year as per the training guidelines. Ansar was recruited following the following procedure.
After the training, the Ansars were given smart cards and certificates after training from the Ansar-VDP Academy and their names were included in the online central panel.
As per the demand of the organization, the offer of membership is given to the Ansars through SMS.
At present, Ansar is incorporated in the organization for three years, i.e. the period of incorporation of 01 Ansar is three years in a row.
The concerned Ansar members are automatically included in the central panel for membership immediately after the completion of the membership period.
Ansar members are required to receive basic training, including firing experience, for integration.
